Prop Co-op? Brazos Valley Photographers!

A cooperative (also co-operative; often referred to as a co-op) is a business organization owned and operated by a group of individuals for their mutual benefit. (via Wikipedia)

*this won’t really be a business, but a resource for those IN business!

so, i have a few really cool props- and i love accumulating more… but the problem is… i don’t have room for them!

so, i was thinking- what if i started a prop Co-Op!!  I could rent a small storage unit and house all of the really cool props there!  If you wanted to be a part of the co-op or add to the co-op you could either rent special props (and i don’t mean for an arm and a leg) or, you can contribute to the Co-op (as in, store your really cool props there too and split the rent!) if there are 5 of us, it could cost us $10 a month!- if you are interested in being a part of this fun little idea, email me and i will put you on the list- just let me know what props you have in mind to store (so i know how big the unit will need to be) and i will get going on this… the sooner i get all of this stuff out of my house, the happier my man will be!!

**there will have to be a really efficient way to check them out and return them so that the props don’t get booked for one session when they are needed for another- i’ll create that as soon as i know that there is interest!

i know you might be thinking, then we will all have the same stuff in our work- keep in mind, this will force some creativity out of us! we should never be afraid of that!  and the reality is: my clients probably won’t be looking at your work, and your clients won’t be looking at mine- AND IF THEY DO, what a great opportunity to share with them that we love to work together and support each other here in the Brazos Valley!!

*** and if you aren’t in the brazos valley- you should start one of these in your community- it’s win-win!!
