in fact, i know which one exactly i would buy if i didn’t care about it being waterproof. the
Panasonic DMC-LX3
it’s pretty much perfect. (well, except, it’s not waterproof)
you can shoot fully manual (very importanta to me!) and the aperture opens up to f2.0 at 24mm!
wide angle + shallow depth of field...
