bryan/college station photographer | editorial wednesday

i mean, really? do you feel like this too?  how does it fly by so quickly?  how is it already wednesday??

I had the sweet pleasure of working on an editorial project for a local publication today- and met the sweetest family!

i’ll share more later, i’m off to cook supper- this image made me laugh out loud, so i thought i would share.

i spent the rest of my day listening to a sweet heart share her depths & walked away taken back by the opportunity out of  “no-where”

what a joy.  sometimes it is good to just stop.  what have you been taken back by lately? (is it supposed to be taken a-back… where does that come from? is that a southern thing? i need to learn to speak english)

still reading the shack, and it’ rocking my world.  next book???? suggestions???

I am constantly taken back(yes it is a southern thing…and it is still english) by the strength of my family…no matter what happens they just take it all in…the good with the bad! They are a example we should all follow…and I am in love with the book ” the five people you meet in heaven”…very good…p.s. the conte of monte cristo is my favorite…a long read but a wonderful story of triumph love and revenge that ends in a love story!

I’m taken back by God’s provision of the opportunity to accomplish my dream/calling, and the constant shaping that allows. Sometimes I just stop in the midst of all the work it takes to get there and breathe a prayer of thankfulness.

I recommend Sacred Rhythms by Ruth Haley Barton. It’s an amazing book about spiritual transformation based on organic patterns, not rigid disciplines.

Just finished The Shack! It was AWESOME! I can’t wait for you to finish and then we can compare notes. Also, the book I read before that was Forgotten God by Francis Chan. He is also the author of Crazy Love. Forgotten God= one of my favorite books. (Which is pretty crazy because I like books!) If you want a book that will rock your world, read this one!

love love.
